Your Safety Is Our Priority

One of the most common concerns that arises when families discuss installing a pool is the fear of accidental drowning of children and pets. Whether you are a parent, a grandparent, or a neighbor who cares about keeping little ones safe, owning a pool can seem like a hazard that isn’t worth the hassle. However, pools and safety do not have to be mutually exclusive. With the right kind of safety pool cover, your swimming pool can be a secure place for every person and furry friend in your life.

Safety covers, How They Work.

Safety covers are designed to stretch over the pool and are secured on all sides to prevent any gaps that would allow animals or children to creep in. They are strong enough to hold hundreds of pounds, so there is no need to worry about them falling under the weight of an animal or child who may crawl on top.

There is nothing worse than walking out to your pool, ready for a day of fun, only to find mice, insects, and other small animals floating in the pool. While these creatures may not be our favorite, we don’t usually desire to bring them to an untimely demise – especially in our swimming pools. Not only do we want to protect the animals we love, but those we don’t love so much.

Solid safety covers do not have any holes or gaps. They completely cover the water, blocking debris and little critters from getting in the water. They block the UV rays from hitting the water, which does not allow the sun to heat the water, but also prevents algae and other bacteria from growing in the pool.

Mesh safety covers, as the name implies, are not solid all the way across. They are made of strong material with spaces resembling a net that are too small for a child or animal to slip into. They are just as safe as the solid ones at a cheaper price. The drawback is that they will not keep debris or rain out of the pool. They keep the pool open to both rainwater and the sun’s rays.

Automatic safety covers are designed for your in-ground pools and can be opened and closed with the push of a button. The convenience is a draw too many pool owners. Some owners also opt to purchase alternate automatic pool covers for winterization.
Manual covers are designed to be stretched over a pool and secured by attaching them or anchoring them to the ground or to the outside of the pool. They can be used on both small inground and above-ground pools, making them a diverse option. They are less expensive than automatic covers, but require more work.

Our automatic pool covers are the first, most efficient step in water safety, but they are most certainly not the only step. Nothing takes the place of parent supervision and other important safety measures. We partner with you to make your pool as safe as can be. We will cover your pool. You can take it from there.
